Infinite Scale. A brief history.

London, UK.

Music direction > electronic - soundtrack - film - breaks - experimental - harmony - emotion - love - attitude

Since his first release ‘Ecoshock’ in 1997 Infinite Scale has composed, collaborated, and produced his way to underground infamy in the electronic music world.

The last ten years has seen successful European tours, sell out EPs on Toytronic and Boltfish recordings, and live sets at Glastonbury and Bestival.

From small beginnings with a sampler and mac in ’96 Scale, a self confessed equipment junkie has built up a studio packed full of equipment from state of the art to vintage, along with a truly eclectic assortment of instruments from around the world have helped him develop his often genre defying sound.

Six years spent living in Barcelona and Hamburg saw gigs and collaborations with local musicians and a twist to the Infinite Scale sound, and when the Ecoshock studios met Bobby Friction in the mid nineties the political musical madness known as Ecostani was born. Other band members came and went but the duo successfully toured Europe, played Scala with the Asian Dub Foundation as support and have since done remixes for record majors, including the top 5 selling single Bhangra Knights out on Sony recordings.

Nowadays The Scale Live Experience is a crowd friendly spectacle - no laptops here, Scale plays each part of his compositions Live using keyboards, drum machines and samplers.

Recent years have seen his first commercial commission for Ford Mondeo, another remix for Positiva, and score compositions and a Maida Vale session for the BBC.

His Live tour last year took in the sights of Glastonbury, Bestival Maida Vale studios and hippie haven The Synergy Project.
